The Golden Triangle with Golden Temple turns into reality on the fourth day when you leave for Amritsar by Shatabdi Express, one of the fastest Indian trains. Amritsar is home to the popular Golden Temple. As you reach Amritsar, MR Bharat Holidays representative will escort you to your pre-booked hotel. Take some rest. Spend some time with the almighty at the Golden Temple. Eat at the langar in the temple. Don’t miss out a trip to Wagah Border, just fifteen minutes drive from city center. The ceremony of taking Indian Flag down in the evening by zealous BSF jawans is an exhilarating experience. Jaliya wala Bagh is also worth visiting. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Early morning, you head to Delhi via Shatabdi Express. From Delhi, you will drive straight to Agra. En route you will come across tomb of great Mughal Emperor Akbar in Sikandra. Check in hotel. After some rest, make a visit to the globally famous Taj Mahal in the evening. The architectural beauty of white-marbled memorial increases manifolds in full moon night. Other attractions like the Deewan-e-khas and Mughal garden is also worth visiting. Enjoy finger-licking Mughlai cuisine in dinner and return back to hotel for overnight stay.
After an early morning breakfast, you will leave for Jaipur. Fatehpur Sikri is an excellent stopover point during the drive. It’s famed for Incredible Mughal forts. Lush green garden aptly comment the glorious day of bygone Mughal era. Later, the drive continues to Jaipur. Check in the hotel and relax for rest of the day.
You have one full day to experience rich royal heritage of Jaipur. Visit the marvelous honey-colored Amber Fort. The elephant ride till the fort makes you feel like a king. Further, you can also visit the City Palace, Nahargarh Fort, Albert Hall Museum, Astronomical observatory and Birla Temple. Foodies must visit the Chokhi Dhani Resort for mouthwatering Rajasthani cuisine. Come back to hotel for night sojourn.
